Warranty Policy

What our voluntary warranty covers, how to make a claim, and how it sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Coverage

All new and pre-owned hardware comes with a 12-month voluntary warranty unless a different period is clearly stated on the product page. Accessories, batteries, and selected refurbished items may have a shorter warranty period and that period will be listed at the time of purchase.

This warranty covers faults that arise from ordinary use and hardware defects. It does not replace or reduce your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

How to claim

  1. Email [email protected] with your order number, product name, and a clear description of the issue.
  2. Where helpful, include photos or a short video showing the fault.
  3. We will confirm next steps, troubleshooting, and whether the item needs to be returned for assessment.
  4. Once received, we inspect the item within 2 business days and confirm repair, replacement, refund, or another appropriate remedy.

We cover reasonable return postage for verified warranty claims. If the issue falls outside warranty coverage, we will contact you before any paid work or return shipping proceeds.

What is not covered

  • Accidental damage, drops, impact, liquid exposure, or power-surge damage.
  • Damage caused by misuse, poor storage, or use outside manufacturer guidelines.
  • Cosmetic wear, ageing plastics, label wear, or patina that does not affect function.
  • Items modified, opened, or repaired by unauthorised parties after delivery.
  • Consumables after reasonable use, including ordinary battery degradation and replaceable cables.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This voluntary warranty is provided in addition to rights and remedies that apply under law.
